Code name: Gyumri operation

The inauguration, last 8 of June in Gyumri of an International Centre for Peace and Development set a precedent, a breath of oxygen for this affected city. The Italian Consul of the city and Pamokdjian’s family made a bet ont the exemplary,  participating in Armenia cultural dynamism with the energy of hope. 

In the aftermath of the 1988 earthquake, Antonio Montalto, the actual honorary consul of Italy, came in Gyumri at the head of the NGO Family Care. Very active doctor on the humanitarian level, he commits himself to helping the victims of the disaster, he take care of orphans from the earthquake and participate to many housing construction projects …
