Komitas inspired ceramics

The Family Care Fondation and Muscari Association presented the new collection of ceramics called ‘Komitas’. These unique handmade pieces were created from Family Care’s craft workshop in Gyumri. The idea behind the collection is to reconnect gestures and a genuinely Armenian arts and crafts tradition. 

This presentation was held during a concert dedicated to he 150th anniversary of Komitas in Istanbul. This concert, organized ith Anadolu Kültür, Kalan Musik cultural centers and the Maxim Gorki Theater, brought togetehr a number of renowned artists and bands from Turkey, the United States and Armenia.
