The Muscari association is taking part this year again in the Solidarities Festival, organized by the City of Lyon in partnership with the Maison des Solidarités, which will take place on November 17, 2018 in Lyon.

For more than 20 years, the Solidarities Festival has been a key event to promote and celebrate a solidarity open to everyone.

Each year in November, associations, communities and local actors are organizing various events to inspire citizens of all ages to act for a just and sustainable world.

Since the beginning of 2018, several working sessions have been held with about forty associative structures to organize this day of convivial and participative animations.

As part of this event, the Muscari association will have the pleasure to welcome in Lyon a ceramist from its handicraft workshop in Gyumri (Armenia), who will demonstrate her know-how to the public throughout this special day.

Muscari and the Family Care Foundation created in 2014 a workshop in the second most important city in Armenia, Gyumri. The project was led by the willing to put the rehabilitation of a typically Armenian tradition of artistic handicraft in the service of local economy (creation of 16 jobs and more to come).
