The Muscari association is participating in the second edition of the Hayastan en Berry Festival from May 19 to 21 in Châteauroux .
This festival, which is organised by the Hayastan en Berry association, is one of the rare events around Armenian traditions in the Centre-Val de Loire region .
The eclectic program of this festival proves the diversity of Armenian culture by offering concerts, presentations of books, films, as well as a conference.
Indeed, on May 20, at the Chapelle des Rédemptoristes, Patrick Donabédian, researcher emeritus at the laboratory of medieval and modern archeology in the Mediterranean area, will present a conference about ‘ Armenia, 3000 years of History and Art.’ Then, we will unveil the objectives of the Muscari association and discuss our projects in Armenia.
On May 20 and 21, the public will have the pleasure of discovering ‘ the Armenian village’ on the forecourt of the Saint André Church in Châteauroux. An opportunity to stroll around the different stands and acquire the magnificent ceramics of Gumri, produced by the Family Care Foundation. Many creations highlighting Armenian craftsmanship will be offered ( jewellery, gastronomy, etc.).
You can follow their activity on their Facebook page.
This festival is supported by the Bullukian Foundation, the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports, the department of Indre and the Châteauroux Metropole.
